Book Tasting
On 30th of March, at 5pm, in Biblioteca Judeteana Alexandru & Aristia Aman Craiova, we managed an event that we liked to call Book Tasting. The main goal of the event was to somehow relate books to food. How? We chose 11 different books that in a metaphorical or literal way were linked to a dish, sweet or aperitif. We put the books disposed on the table and prepared the food for each one. We also created explanations about the book's story and about the relation between the book and the food that was in front of it.
English Book Reading Club #1
During this first meeting we explain what was the aim of them and what would happen during the next ones. We've voted in group for a book that must be read and that will be discussed among the participants during the second meeting of this English Book Reading Club.
Book Reading Club #4
On the 19th of July, Kromatikon stage 2 had his first Book Reading meeting in Biblioteca Judeteana Alexandru & Aristia Aman - American Corner.

We discussed "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London where we obtained different conclusions about the meaning of the book. It was good to see the people engaging in the discussion.
"Book Runner" - Treasure Hunt Event
On the 9th of August we held a Treasure Hunt in the Botanical Garden in which the main goal for the participants was to, with the help of a map, find clues that would lead them to guess a series of 12 young adult fiction books previously chosen by us.

We had 40 participants and everyone was able to complete the course and guess some books, but above all have a great time, just like us.
English Book Reading #5
Last Thursday 17th of August in the Library Judeteana Alexandru & Aristia Aman, we commented the book "The Stranger" by Albert Camus. We made an introduction about the life of the author and a summary of the book. Then we asked some open questions to the public and discussed some existentialist concepts through a game in which papers were distributed with a series of names. The public was able to express their opinions regarding these words and their relationship with the book.
English Book Reading #6
On the 19th of September, Kromatikon Project gathered once again in Biblioteca Judeteana Alexandru & Aristia Aman to talk about the book "Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk.
After a brief summary of the book and the author's life, we discuss about several episodes that compose this history and the relevance of this book in today's context.

Everyone was happy to contribute to the discussion and share the ideas about the book and the topics approached.

On 6th of October, Kromatikon stage 2 had Book Reading meeting for the fourth time in the Biblioteca Judeteana Alexandru & Aristia Aman - American Cornerl, one of our favourite places. This time we shared our opinions and views on the "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" book by Douglas Adams.
